About Collywobbles

Collywobbles is a psychology and wellbeing service rooted in connection, community, and compassion. Based in Inverness, Scotland, we work with adults, children, teenagers, and families across the country, supporting mental health and emotional wellbeing through a holistic, trauma-informed approach.

Founded by Katrina Tickle, a highly experienced Psychological Therapist, Collywobbles was created with a deep belief that healing happens when the right therapeutic approaches are coupled with connection— connection with ourselves, others, and the world around us. Katrina has spent over 15 years working in children’s mental health across both the NHS and private sectors, but her vision has always extended beyond childhood, recognizing that all people, at all stages of life, deserve access to compassionate support.

Our Approach: The Whole Person, The Whole Community

At Collywobbles, we don’t just treat symptoms—we work with the whole person. We understand the impact of an activated nervous system and use evidence-based interventions to help people regulate, heal, and grow. Our services focus on resilience, self-esteem, confidence, connection, and joy, empowering individuals to navigate life’s challenges with greater ease.

We also believe that healing doesn’t happen in isolation. That’s why community is at the heart of everything we do. Whether it’s through individual therapy, family support, parent-led work, or creative wellbeing programmes, we aim to create a space where people feel seen, supported, and understood.

A Future of Wellbeing for All

We are passionate about early intervention and prevention, but our vision goes beyond that. We strive for a future where everyone—children, young people, and adults—has access to mental health and wellbeing support without stigma or barriers. We believe that by fostering connection, curiosity, and care, we can create lasting change in individuals, families, and communities.

Core Values

Safety - We are committed to providing the highest quality services and continuously evaluating and improving our approach. Our team engages in regular supervision to ensure safe and ethical practice. We strive to create an environment where every client feels secure, supported, and valued.

Compassion - We take a compassionate, non-judgmental approach, meeting each person with empathy, warmth, and kindness. We respect individual journeys and provide a safe space for healing, growth, and self-discovery.

Creativity - We believe that creativity has the power to unlock self-expression, healing, and transformation. Through creative exploration, people of all ages can develop resilience, gain deeper self-understanding, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence.

Joy - We believe that joy is the most vulnerable emotion and one that can only be achieved when we allow our other more challenging emotions to flow and be processed. By allowing vulnerability, we build strength and fostering a deep and lasting sense of joy and wellbeing, we help individuals of all ages build emotional strength to weather life’s ups and downs.

Connection - Strong relationships are at the heart of our work. We recognize the power of connection and how community is central to healing. We emphasize meaningful connections in every part of our work to build trust, resilience, and growth.

Innovation - We embrace new ideas, approaches, and technologies to enhance the way we support individuals and families. By staying curious and adaptable, we ensure our services evolve to meet the ever-changing needs of the people we serve.

We believe everyone (no matter their age or problem) should be able to access wellness and emotional support services and prevention is better than a cure.
